Assistant Structured Day Treatment Program Instructor
Ms. Pellegrino has a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art with a minor in Psychology from Cedar Crest College. Ms. Pellegrino specializes in therapeutic art workshops designed to improve patients’ cognitive abilities, as well as, fine motor skills. She has history working with adults living with traumatic brain injury. Ms. Pellegrino has also taught individuals with mild to profound intellectual disabilities, and also children with pervasive developmental disorders. In Areli's spare time she volunteers for many nonprofit organizations, including The Cancer Support Community of the Lehigh Valley, and a previous ambassadorship for “Woven Welcome” a community art engagement. She had also taught at McKinley Elementary “Me as an Artist” after-school program. Her art and leadership in the community resulted in local media attention. Ms. Pellegrino is committed to bringing her experience and creativity to the Success Team, as well as furthering her education as a Brain Injury Specialist.
