Position:
Counselor
Statement of Job:
The Counselor is directly responsible for assisting/prompting clients in all aspects of daily living They insure that
the basic needs of clients are appropriately met Counselors serve as advocates for clients by assisting them in the development of
social and daily living skills.
Responsibilities:
-
Provide assistance to clients with personal care needs
-
Provide job coaching
-
Provide transportation
-
Assure clients schedule is followed
-
Follow all safety Policies and Procedures and use proper safety techniques as needed
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or Bachelor Degree in a field related to Human Services, or four (4) years
experience in any of the following:
-
Human Services Volunteer
-
Human Services employment in direct care
-
Equivalent life experience
-
Good verbal and written communication skills
-
Valid Drivers License
