Overview

We’re looking for psychotherapist for our Residential and Structured Day Treatment Program clients with a wide variety of cognitive deficits.  Psychotherapist plays an important role in the effective treatment of symptoms and behaviors associated with TBI to assist the client better participate in their rehabilitation program so they attain the skills necessary to achieve and maintain the highest degree of independence possible.  Consults regularly with Staff Psychiatrist and works cooperatively and collaboratively with other members of the clinical team as well as residential management and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

Essential

  1. Provide individual and group cognitive/behavioral psychotherapy implementing goal specific and measurable treatment plans

  2. Participate in development, implementation, tracking and documentation of client goals and predicted outcomes with Clinical Team

  3. Prepare and submit reports of client progress and status of goals per company policy and procedures 

  4. Participate in staff development on TBI related topics and individual client goals

  5. Attend professional workshops, seminars and conferences as appropriate and as needed for retention of licensure

  6. Comfortable documenting client therapy sessions and progression through digital and traditional media, as directed.

Non-Essential

  1. Regularly attend and participate in staff meetings

  2. Attend all required training

  3. Report any noticeable facility/client maintenance issue to Program Administrator using established procedure.

Job Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate Degree

  • Current and valid Pennsylvania license as clinical social worker or psychologist

  • Minimum 2 yrs experience providing individual and group therapy with rehabilitation, residential or special populations, preferably TBI

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities in a frequently changing environment

  • Excellent verbal and written skills and proven ability to communicate with all levels of employees.  Proficiency in use of applicable computer software.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Experience supervising clinical staff a plus

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License
