Thomas McCurnin, BS, CBIS
Structured Day Treatment Program Instructor
Mr. McCurnin has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Thomas began his work with clients with TBI at Success Rehab in 2009. He also has backgrounds in both music and art. He has coached youth ice hockey in Bucks County, with children ranging from age 8 to 19 and was Kutztown University Roller Hockey Club’s assistant coach from 2010 – 2012. Thomas uses his background in coaching and leadership to boost morale and motivate the clients while also using his experiences in music and art to take a therapeutic, cognitive approach. As a Day Treatment Program Instructor, Thomas helps clients by promoting creativity and self-esteem. Mr. McCurnin holds a certificate as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, is a certified nonviolent physical crisis intervention instructor with the Crisis Prevention Institute and is a certified ALICE instructor.
